The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that travel restrictions are scheduled at the Interstate 95/Interstate 476 Interchange in the City of Chester and Ridley Township, Delaware County.
The schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
• From 9:00 PM tonight, December 11, to 5:00 AM Saturday, December 12, one lane will be closed on the I-95 south ramp to I-476 north for overhead sign inspection;
• On Wednesday, December 16, through Friday, December 18, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the I-95 north ramp to I-476 north will be closed and detoured for overhead sign installation and line painting. During the ramp closure, northbound I-95 motorists wanting to access northbound I-476 will exit the expressway at the Ridley Park (Exit 8) Interchange. From the exit ramp, drivers will turn left onto Stewart Avenue and left at the ramp leading to I-95 south, and follow I-95 south to the ramp for I-476 north;
• Wednesday, December 16, through Friday, December 18, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, one lane will be closed on the I-95 south ramp to I-476 north for overhead sign installation and line painting.
