PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that line painting operations on Interstate 79 in Allegheny County will begin Sunday night, August 18 weather permitting.

Motorists traveling through Jones Township in Elk County will be reminded to obey the posted speed limit. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today the placement of a radar-controlled speed display sign on Route 219 near Old Kane Road. The sign will aid in curbing speeding, a common type of aggressive driving.
