State Route (SR) 4001 will close from July 22 to August 2, weather permitting, to repair damage caused by an embankment failure and to stabilize the road’s shoulder. SR 4001 will close at Mercer Street in Butler City and end at Aubrey’s Drive at the Butler City/Center Township line.

PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that Babcock Boulevard (Route 4009) in Ross Township, Allegheny County, will be reduced to a single lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal at the intersection with Peoples Road beginning Tuesday, June 25, weather permitting.

PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists that a section of Watt Road near the intersection of Route 4067 (Pine Run Road) in Washington Township will be closed for approximately 12 hours on June 27, 2019 from 6:00 AM until approximately 6:00 PM. The road closure will be in place so that a box culvert and wingwalls can be placed.

Because each roadway is different, these daylight projects may include milling, base repair and placing an asphalt overlay. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers when necessary and the project depends on the weather conditions. Tentative locations are approximate. Start dates will be updated as they get closer

On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Highway Safety Network, Berks County District Attorney’s Office, Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, Blue Marsh National Recreation Area, and local law enforcement will hold an event at Dry Brooks Boat Launch, Blue Marsh National Recreation Area to promote safe driving and boating during an Independence Day Impaired Driving Mobilization.

Construction for the bridge carrying Coleman Road over Western Maryland Railroad in Straban Township, Adams County, is scheduled to begin during the week of July 8 as part of the PennDOT Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.

The full replacement of the bridge carrying Route 462 over Little Conestoga Creek at the East Hempfield-Lancaster-Manor Township Line in Lancaster County, currently under construction as part of the PennDOT Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, is scheduled to be completed in early-to-mid July.

King of Prussia, PA – U.S. 422 motorists will encounter several travel restrictions next week at various locations in Montgomery and Chester counties for construction activities on two separate projects to reconstruct, rehabilitate and improve the expressway, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

King of Prussia, PA – Several travel restrictions will be in place next week on eastbound and westbound Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Center City Philadelphia for construction on the viaduct between the 30th Street and University Avenue interchanges and the viaduct carrying Schuylkill Avenue over the expressway between Walnut Street and Market Street, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures will be in place at night next week in each direction on U.S. 1 and Street Road (Route 132) in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, for various construction activities on a project to widen and improve U.S.1 and reconstruct the interchange at Street Road (Route 132), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
