King of Prussia, PA – Perkasie Borough is planning a weekday lane closure with flagging on Route 563 (Ridge Road) from Tunnel Road to just east of Poplar Street in Perkasie Borough, Bucks County on Monday, November 25, through Friday, December 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for stormwater improvement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

PennDOT District 11 is announcing drainage improvement work on Warrendale Bayne Road (Route 4052) in Marshall Township, Allegheny County, will begin Thursday, November 21 weather permitting.

Motorists traveling on State Route (SR) 68, from the intersection of Interstate 80 (Exit 62) to Dolby Street, can anticipate changing traffic patterns on November 21 and 22, 2019 from 7 AM to 6 PM. During this time, traffic will be switched onto the newly widened and paved roadway on this section of SR 68.

Plumsteadville, PA – With the winter season upon us, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 6 outlined its plans for winter and announced the Philadelphia region’s Paint the Plow winners at the new Bucks County maintenance facility in Plumstead Township.

Beginning at 9 AM on November 20, 2019, motorists traveling on State Route (SR) 422 between Rupp Church Road and SR 2014 (Green Tree/Rinker Hollow Road) will be diverted onto the recently-built temporary SR 422 roadway until mid-summer of 2020. Additionally, during this time, motorists will not have access to SR 422 from SR 2012 (Silvis Hollow Road).

With the busy holiday driving period just around the corner, the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission came together at the PennDOT Regional Traffic Management Center at the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) in Harrisburg to remind drivers to wear their seat belts, drive sober, and eliminate distractions behind the wheel as they prepare to take to the road for Thanksgiving.

Route 611 (Easton Road) will be reduced to a single lane with flagging between Route 212 (Durham Road) and Durham Street in Durham Township, Bucks County 24/7 through June 2020, for construction related to a project to replace the bridge carrying Route 611 (Easton Road) over Cooks Creek, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

At an event at the Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) today, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), along with the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA), reminded Pennsylvanians who want to continue using their driver's license or photo ID card as identification to board a domestic flight or enter a secure federal facility to upgrade it to a REAL ID-compliant version before federal enforcement of the REAL ID Act begins on October 1, 2020.
