The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is updating drivers about replacement work for three box culverts in Juniata County. The box culverts are located on Route 35 near the village of Nook, on Spruce Hill Road (Route 3013) near the Academia/Pomeroy covered bridge, and on McKinley Road (Route 3021) about one mile southeast of McCoysville. Detours will be used for each replacement location. Each replacement is a companion to the others, with the overall goal of replacing Juniata County bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that overnight paving on Route 255 (East DuBois Avenue) in DuBois will resume Sunday evening, August 19.

A West Branch Road (Route 2002) bridge in Potter County, reopened to traffic on Thursday, August 16. The bridge spans Lyman Run in West Branch Township and was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. Replacing the bridge allows PennDOT to remove it from the list of bridges in “poor” condition.
