Uniontown – PennDOT District 12 would like to update motorists on the current Interstate 70 Bentleyville project.
The Contractor, Golden Triangle Construction, will be setting new beams for the Route 917 Bridge over Interstate 70. This work will occur beginning 8:00 pm Tuesday night April 19th and continuing thru the night till 6:00 am. Wednesday morning, April 20.
Interstate 70 will be reduced to one lane in each direction during this time period. In addition, traffic will be stopped in all lanes for 15 minute intervals while the individual beams are lifted from the truck and set on the new bridge abutment.
On Friday night April 22, the east bound off ramp from Interstate70 to Route 917 will be closed for reconstruction. This closure will last for approximately 50 days. Motorists will be able to access Route 917 via the Bentleyville exit during this time period.
Other work will be observable “off road” and will not impact Interstate70 traffic.
