The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display to inform the public of the proposed bridge replacement project located on Route 56 (Quaker Valley Road) over a Tributary to Barefoot Run, in Pleasantville Borough and East Saint Clair Township, Bedford County. Minimal roadway approach work and replacement of the traffic signal at the signal at the intersection with Route 96 is also anticipated for the project. Traffic will be detoured during the structure replacement.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.
The meeting will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Alum Bank Fire Department Banquet Hall, 6738 King Saint Clair Road, Alum Bank, PA 15521.
