Tree Project on Route 42 South of Buckhorn Begins Tomorrow

Montoursville, PA – Brown’s Tree Service, a PennDOT contractor is set to begin a tree project along Route 42 in the area of Fernville near Fishing Creek in Columbia County tomorrow, November 20, weather permitting.

Crews will trim trees, remove trees, move wood and grind stumps along the southbound shoulder of Route 42. The southbound shoulder will be closed, and a southbound lane restriction may be required during some of the work.

The work is expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete.

Motorists should be alert and watch for changing traffic patterns.
