Montoursville, PA – A bridge replacement project continues next week on Route 339 at the Village of Shumans in Beaver Township, Columbia County.
The bridge spans Beaver Run about 0.7 miles northwest of the intersection with Route 2026 (Shadow Mountain Road).
Work next week includes removing the water diversion channel, preparing the road subgrade, and paving.
A detour is in place during this project using Route 2022 (Scotch Valley Drive), Route 2024 (Beaver Valley Road), and Mountain Shadow Road.
This project is expected to be completed by early September.
HRI, Inc., is the prime contractor on this $715,000 project.
