Montoursville, PA – A resurfacing project continues on Interstate 180 in the City of Williamsport, Loyalsock Township, Montoursville Borough, and Fairfield Township, Lycoming County.
On Friday August 9, the contractor will begin placing epoxy deck treatments on the I-180 structures over Third Street in Loyalsock Township. This work will be performed with single lane conditions in place from Friday at 8 p.m. through Monday at 6 a.m.
This project includes milling and paving on I-180, paving the ramps within the project limits, applying an epoxy-based surface treatment on bridges, placing a new roof on the pedestrian overpass east of Basin Street, and highway lighting.
Work is expected to be completed by late fall.
HRI, Inc. is the prime contractor on this $3.3 million project.
