Southbound Route 19 Washington Road Weekend Lane Restriction in Upper St. Clair


Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing a lane restriction on southbound Route 19 (Washington Road) in Upper St. Clair Township, Allegheny County, will occur Friday night through Monday morning, July 12-15 weather permitting.

Crews will conduct concrete shoulder repair requiring a single-lane restriction on southbound Route 19 from 7 p.m. tonight, Friday night continuously through 6 a.m. Monday morning between McMurray Road and Washington County. 

The work is part of the $5.55 million project to improve 2.5 miles of Route 19. Other work on the project includes concrete patching, shoulder repairs, base repairs, drainage and guide rail upgrades, ADA curb ramp improvements, signal updates, and sign and pavement marking installation.

The prime contractor is A. Folino Construction, Inc. from Oakmont, PA. The overall project is anticipated to be completed in November 2019.
