A lane restriction has been put into place on Interstate 86 eastbound from the Interstate 90 interchange to the New York state line in Greenfield Township, Erie County.
The right lane is expected to remain closed while work is completed in connection with a preservation project along the corridor.
A speed reduction of 45 miles per hour is also in place for traffic in left lane of Interstate 86 eastbound.
PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
