About This Innovation
We had some clogged or partially clogged drainage pipes under our roadways and without access to a vac truck we could only reach so far with a fire hose and try to flush the pipe open. We needed something we could advance further into the drainage pipe to reach the clog. Our solution was to have a metal pipe we could connect in sections to the fire hose and push it into the drainage pipe to reach the clog. We also needed the sections of pipe small enough to be put together inside of a drainage box and to also be used on drainage pipes where the pipe was at a hard angle up against a bank. We also recently added a 90 degree elbow to reach down into a manhole without having to do confined space entry.
