Paint the Plow
With winter just around the corner, District 2 is getting help from schools in Clearfield County in a creative outreach project to promote winter safety called "Paint the Plow."
Schools were asked to paint the plows with a winter safety theme, weather motif or even school mascots. This year, the program in District 2 incorporated the theme "Ice and Snow, Take it Slow." These blades will run in the areas of the respective school districts.
A panel of judges will select a "Best in Show," and PennDOT Facebook fans vote for their "fan favorites" on the PennDOT Facebook page. Voting began Tuesday, Oct. 24, and will end at noon Friday, Nov. 3.
