Pittsburgh – PennDOT District 11 is announcing gas line improvement work on Gilkeson Road (Route 3038) in the Municipality of Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County, will resume today, Wednesday, September 13 weather permitting.
A single-lane closure on Gilkeson Road will occur around-the-clock between Route 19 and Old Gilkeson Road through mid-October. Additionally, the following weekday restrictions will occur:
- Two lanes of westbound traffic and one lane of eastbound traffic will be maintained from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- A single-lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Two lanes of eastbound traffic and one lane of westbound traffic will be maintained from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Crews from Michael Facchiano Contracting, Inc. will conduct concrete replacement work.
