Public Meeting and Plans Display for T-409 (Tuscarora Creek Road) Bridge Replacement Project


The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display on the proposed T-409 (Tuscarora Creek Road) bridge over Tuscarora Creek replacement project in Tell Township, Huntingdon County.

The project will include replacement of the existing two span bridge with a single span bridge, guide rail upgrades and roadway approach paving. Traffic will be detoured during construction.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

The meeting will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Blairs Mills Sportsman’s Club, 19948 Tuscarora Creek Road, Blairs Mills, PA 17213.
