11:30 PM Update: Crash Closes Interstate 180 EB in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County

11:30 PM Update: Both lanes of Interstate 180 eastbound are now open.

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that both lanes of Interstate 180 eastbound are closed between the Faxon Exit and East Third Street, Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, for a vehicle crash with a fuel spill.

A detour using Route 2014 (Third Street also known as the Golden Strip) is in place.

The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
