Lewistown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that Mann’s Narrows Road (Route 1005) reopened at approximately 8:00 PM Friday, January 15. The road closed Monday, December 28, to allow PennDOT to evaluate a sloped rock formation and perform site cleanup.
PennDOT lifted the detours in placed during this closure.
Work on this project was done in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the job site and relevant training.
