PennDOT’s Washington County Maintenance Update Week of March 18, 2019

Washington – Washington County Maintenance Manager, Adam Smith, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of March 18, 2019.  All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis.  Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
  

Patching work is scheduled for SR 22 (Segment 10 to 250) – William Penn Highway; SR 18 (Segment 690 to 770) – Burgettstown Road and Burgettstown Florence Road;  SR 4007 (Segment 10 to 80) – Bavington Road), SR  3009 (Segment 60 – 170) - Craycraft Road and North Sunset Beach Road);  SR 221 (Segment 100 – 220) -        and Spray patching on 3035 (Segment 10 to 170) – Rocky Run Road. 

Side Dozing is planned for SR 2048 (Segment 30) – Old National Pike.

Delineator placement is planned for SR 2023 (Segment 10 to 210) – Bentleyville Road. 

Brushing is scheduled for SR 2069 (Segment 10 to 60) – Woodland Drive) – and SR 2071 (Segment 10 to 30) – Richeyville Road.

Cleaning of drains, pipes, and ditches is scheduled for SR 22 (Segment 251 to 261) -William Penn Highway; SR 3023 (Segment 10 to 60)- Old Brick Road; SR 221 (Segment 270 to 280) – Green Valley Road; SR 3029 (Segment 260) – Pleasant Grove Road) and SR 40 (segment 10 to 360) – National Pike.   Pipe flushing is planned for SR 4008 (Segment 10 to 150) – Eldersville Road and SR 4018 (Segment 10 to 100) -  Meadowcroft Road.  Pipe replacement is scheduled for SR 2023 (Segment 100) – Bentleyville Road.


PENNDOT has a 24-hour toll free number for residents to call to report any road maintenance concern.  This number can also be utilized to report locations of dead deer on state highways.  The number is 1-800-FIX ROAD (1-800-349-7623).
