Maintenance Work Next Week in Lawrence County


Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing road closures for maintenance improvement work on Route 4008 (High Hill Road) and Route 2022 (Center Church Road/Heinz Camp Road) in Lawrence County, will occur Monday through Friday, August 3-7 weather permitting.

Road closures will occur from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the following locations: 

  • High Hill Road from Ohio to Route 208 in Pulaski Township. Crews will conduct paving operations

  • Center Church Road/Heinz Camp Road from Route 388 in Slippery Rock Township to Route 2007 (Armstrong Road) in Perry Township. Crews will conduct cross pipe replacement work.

Through traffic will be detoured via a red arrow detour. Both roadways will reopen to traffic at 5 p.m. each day.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
