Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is
announcing a paving work on northbound I-279 in the City of Pittsburgh,
Allegheny County, will occur Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19 weather permitting.
Crews will conduct
paving work on northbound I-279 (Parkway North) between I-579 and the Suffolk
Street Bridge from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. To allow this work
to occur, a single-lane of traffic will be maintained on both I-279 and I-579. Additionally, the Madison Street on-ramp to
northbound I-279 will be closed and traffic will be detoured.

At Hazlett Street, take the
ramp to northbound I-279
Crews will also
conduct line painting operations.
Please use caution
while driving through the area. Work
zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
