Route 4021 Lowries Run Road Drainage Improvements begin Tuesday in Allegheny County


Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing drainage improvement work on Lowries Run Road (Route 4021) in Ross and Ohio townships, Allegheny County, will begin Tuesday night, April 2 weather permitting.

Drainage improvement work requiring single-lane alternating traffic on Lowries Run Road between I-279 and Rochester Road will occur through Sunday, June 30 according to the following schedule: 

  • Monday through Friday nights – 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Saturday and Sundays – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.

The prime contractor is A. Folino Construction, Inc.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 860 traffic cameras.
