Interstate 90 Westbound Reopened in Erie County

All westbound lanes of Interstate 90 are reopened following a tractor trailer crash. The highway had been closed from Exit 41 (Route 89, Northeast) to Exit 35 (Route 531, Harborcreek).

A speed restriction of 45 miles per hour remains in place on Interstates 79, 86, and 90. Commercial vehicle traffic is permitted to use the right lane only.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
