Public Meeting and Plans Display for Route 31 (Glades Pike) Stonycreek River Bridge in Brothersvalley and Stonycreek Townships, Somerset County

Hollidaysburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display on the proposed Route 31 (Glades Pike) Stonycreek River Bridge replacement project in Brothersvalley and Stonycreek townships, Somerset County.

The project consists of replacing the existing structure, which runs over Stonycreek River, along with minor roadway approach work. Traffic will follow a detour during the construction process.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berlin Community Building 700 North Street Berlin, PA 15530.

Public Meeting and Plans Display for Route 4002 (Sugar Run Road) Sugar Run Bridge Replacement Project in Blair County

Hollidaysburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display on the proposed Route 4002 (Sugar Run Road) over Sugar Run Bridge replacement project in Allegheny Township, Blair County.

The project consists of replacing the existing single span bridge with a composite steel rolled beam bridge. The project will also include minor roadway approach work such as guide rail upgrades and roadway approach paving. Traffic will follow a detour during the construction process.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the

Allegheny Township Municipal Building, 3131 Colonial Drive, Duncansville, PA 16635.

Public Meeting and Plans Display for Route 3055 (Franklin Street) Bridge Rehabilitation Project in Johnstown

Hollidaysburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display on the proposed Route 3055 (Franklin Street) Bridge rehabilitation project in the city of Johnstown, Cambria County.

The proposed project will include bridge removal and replacement work, repairs and painting of the superstructure, which runs over Stonycreek River. Traffic will follow a detour during the construction process.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

Public Meeting and Plans Display for Route 16 Safety Improvement Project in Ayr and Todd Townships, and McConnellsburg Borough

Hollidaysburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display on the proposed Route 16 safety improvement project in Ayr and Todd Townships and McConnellsburg Borough, Fulton County.

The proposed project extends along Route 16 from US 522 to the Franklin County Line. Improvements are planned for the intersection of Route 16 (Lincoln Way East) and Route 1006 (Buchanan Trail), as well as roadway resurfacing, ADA curb ramps, and upgrades to drainage facilities, traffic signals, guide rails, pavement markings and signs.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. Public Meeting and Plans Display for the Route 26 Jackson Corner Slope Stabilization Project

Hollidaysburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display on the proposed Route 26 Jackson Corner Slope Stabilization Project in Miller township in Huntingdon County.

The proposed project will include stabilization efforts to a 400-foot section of Route 26 approximately one half-mile north of Jackson Corner. Work will include excavation, drainage installation that will improve roadway sight distance, new bituminous pavement and a new guide rail. Traffic will be detoured during construction.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

Public Meeting and Plans Display for the Route 756 Safety Study Located between Leventry Road and Post Street

Hollidaysburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display for the purpose of presenting the findings of the Roadway Safety Study on the existing Route 756 corridor between Leventry Road and Post Street in Cambria County.

The project team will be gathering public input along the current corridor in regard to land use, pedestrian/transportation needs as well as safety concerns.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

Public Meeting and Plans Display for Route 305 (Greenwood Road) Herod Run Culvert Replacement
Hollidaysburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an open house and plans display to inform the public of the proposed Route 305 (Greenwood Road) Herod Run Culvert Replacement Project in Jackson Township, Huntingdon County.

The proposed project will include a full structure replacement along with full depth approach roadway work, guiderail upgrades, and signage upgrades. A detour will be implemented during construction.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. 

Representatives of PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups, or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.
