Improvements to 2.1 miles of Route 219 from the Barn Curve to Route 4013 (Sunset Road) in East Carroll Township and Carrolltown Borough, Cambria County.
This season, work will be taking place from Route 1009 (Dutch Road) to Route 4013 (Sunset Road) and will consist of drainage upgrades, flush concrete traffic seperators, curbing, sign upgrades, signal upgrades, milling and resurfacing as well as any needed miscellaneous construction.
The first season of the project consisted of vertical and horizontal realignment of a curve near Brick Road, milling and resurfacing, along with drainage, guiderail and signal upgrades.
