The project is for replacement of four single span structures over tributaries to Yellow Creek in Bedford County. All four structures will be replaced with new precast box culverts. Three of the culverts are located along Route 26 and one is located along Route 36. A left turn lane will be provided along Route 26 eastbound approach to the Route 36 intersection. The intersection will also be widened to better accommodate turning movements. Other roadway work will include drainage and guide rail upgrades and other miscellaneous construction.
