King of Prussia, PA – Almshouse Road is scheduled to close between Meadowview Drive and Wayne Drive in Warwick Township, Bucks County, on Saturday, April 27, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During this operation, Almshouse Road motorists will be directed to use Route 263 (York Road), Bristol Road and Mearns Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
In addition to Saturday’s closure, lane restrictions with flagging will occur in the same work area on Monday, April 29, through Wednesday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for trench restoration.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
