Project Overview

Resurface Cedar Crest Boulevard in the City of Allentown, Salisbury Township and South Whitehall Township in Lehigh County.

Cedar Crest Boulevard will be resurfaced between Interstate 78 and Walbert Avenue. Work includes roadway milling and paving, constructing new Americans with Disability Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps (where applicable) and new pavement markings. 

Motorists should expect nighttime lane restrictions on Cedar Crest Boulevard and allow for extra time traveling through the area. Updates will be provided whenever traffic pattern schedules change.

This section of Cedar Crest Boulevard has an average daily traffic volume that varies between 14,889 and 20,648 vehicles.
