Project Overview

PA 191 BrIdge over Buck Hill Creek

​Work on the bridge consists of bridge repairs including but not limited to structural repairs,  deck repairs,  concrete arch substructure repairs, masonry repairs, bearing repairs, joint repairs/joint sealing, painting, scour countermeasures and channel repairs, along with other miscellaneous construction.

PA 191 is closed between PA 390 and PA 447. Local access is being maintained up to the work area, but no traffic will be able to go over the bridge.

The bridge repairs are part of a $3.1 million contract to make repairs to six bridges in the Northeastern Pennsylvania region. Fabcor, Inc. of Jessup, Pa. is the general contractor.

​The PA 191 Bridge is a 25-feet long concrete arch bridge constructed in 1948 and has an average daily traffic volume of 689 vehicles.
