Paint the Plow
With winter just around the corner, District 4 is getting help from schools in Luzerne, Pike, and Susquehanna counties in the creative outreach project to promote winter safety called "Paint the Plow."
Schools are asked to paint the plows with a winter safety theme, weather motif, or even school mascots. This year, the program in District 4 has incorporated the theme "Ice and Snow, Take it Slow." These plow blades will run in the areas of the respective school districts.
A panel of judges will select a "Best in Show" for each county, and PennDOT Facebook fans vote for their "fan favorites" on the PennDOT Facebook page.
