Work to replace a bridge spanning Kane Creek is scheduled to start Monday, April 22, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The bridge is located on Route 6 approximately a mile east of Mount Jewett in Hamlin Township, McKean County. Replacing it will allow PennDOT to remove the structure from McKean County’s list of bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that work to replace a Worth Township bridge in Centre County will begin next week. The bridge spans Ardery Run on Ardery Hollow Road (T-348) east of Port Matilda. Replacing the bridge will provide a new, modern structure while eliminating a bridge in “poor” condition.

Repair work will start late this month on a Route 53 bridge near Philipsburg, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The bridge spans Laurel Run on Route 53, just past the Harbor Inn. The work will upgrade the status of the bridge from “poor” to “good."
