The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is issuing an update on its Interstate 99 improvement project in Centre County. The project will improve ride quality and extend the useful life of approximately 2.5 miles of roadway in Spring Township, Centre County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is issuing an update on its Route 22 paving project in Mifflin County. This project will improve ride quality and extend the useful life of more than five miles of roadway in Derry and Granville Townships as well as Lewistown Borough.

On Monday, July 13, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will begin preliminary work on a Route 35 bridge replacement. The bridge spans a tributary of Cocolamus Creek approximately two miles north of Cocolamus in Fayette Township. Replacing the bridge will allow PennDOT to remove the structure from the list of Juniata County bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that repairs to the structural steel on a Route 220 bridge in Clinton County are set to begin tomorrow. The bridge spans Bald Eagle Creek approximately two miles east of Mill Hall and are being made to address notes made during a recent inspection.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that a paving project on Route 770 in McKean County is set to begin Friday, July 10. This project will improve ride quality and extend the useful life of approximately seven miles of roadway in Bradford and Lafayette townships.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the I-80 rest areas in Clinton County have reopened. The rest areas reopened yesterday following modifications to floor drains within the underground well vault and sewage treatment plant and the replacement of an aging underground domestic well water pressure tank.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that an improvement project on Interstate 99 is slated to begin Monday, July 6. The project will improve ride quality and extend the useful life of approximately 2.5 miles of roadway in Spring Township, Centre County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is issuing an update on its North Atherton Street (Route 3014) project in State College. Work remaining on this project is scheduled to be completed over the next two weeks and includes installing new drainage, curb, sidewalk, curb ramps, and performing signal upgrades. The remaining area will then be overlaid with asphalt pavement.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that work to replace a steel pipe culvert in the Village of Kinney is set to begin Wednesday, July 8. The culvert spans Orebed Creek on Route 4016 (Irish Settlement Road) in Genesee Township, Potter County, and replacing it will remove the structure from Potter County’s list of bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that RJ Corman Railroad crews are scheduled to begin replacing the Deer Creek Road railroad crossing near Frenchville Sunday, July 12. The road will be closed at the crossing for two days while this work is completed.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that work to replace a masonry arch culvert near Port Matilda is set to begin Monday, July 6. The culvert spans Bell Hollow on Route 3025 (Bell Hollow Lane) in Taylor Township, Centre County, and replacing it will remove the structure from Centre County’s list of bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that RJ Corman Railroad crews are scheduled to begin replacing the Edendale Road railroad crossing in Osceola Mills Borough Friday, July 10. Curtin Street will be closed between Phoenix and Walker streets for two days while this work is completed.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that work on the last of three structures being repaired as part of a bridge preservation project in Juniata County is set to begin Monday, July 6. This structure spans Schweyer Run in Mifflintown Borough next to the American Legion and the repairs will remove it from the list of Juniata County bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that work to replace a bridge near Port Royal is set to begin tomorrow. The bridge spans Markee Creek on Route 3017 (Academia Road) in Beale Township, Juniata County, and replacing it will remove the structure from Juniata County’s list of bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that preliminary work to replace a bridge on Route 44 in Hebron Township, Potter County, is scheduled to start Wednesday, July 1. The bridge spans Steer Run approximately four miles north of Coudersport near the intersection of Route 4006 (West Hebron Road) and replacing it will allow PennDOT to remove the structure from the list of Potter County bridges in poor condition.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is issuing an update on its cable median barrier installation project along more than 13 miles of roadway in Centre, Clinton, Mifflin, and Juniata counties. The project will enhance safety for motorists and reduce the potential for head-on collisions on high-volume traffic routes.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that RJ Corman Railroad crews are scheduled to begin replacing the Maple Street railroad crossing in Chester Hill Borough near the Clearfield/Centre county line Wednesday, July 8. Route 53 will be closed between Water and Railroad streets for two days while this work is completed.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) issued an update today on a bridge replacement project along Route 150 in Beech Creek Township, Clinton County. The project will replace a bridge spanning Peters Hollow about two miles east of Beech Creek and another spanning a tributary of Bald Eagle Creek about one mile east of Beech Creek, which will allow PennDOT to remove them from Clinton County’s list of bridges in poor condition.
