Venango County - Tarklin Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to a plans display about a project rehabilitate the Tarklin Road Bridge (Route 2004) over Tarklin Run in Cranberry Township, Venango County.
The bridge is located on Tarklin Road between the intersection with the Hill City Road (Route 2015) and the intersection with Van Road.
The project will include removing the existing asphalt and replacing it with a new concrete deck. Work will also include upgrades to the concrete barrier and guiderails, and new roadway approaches.
The plans display will be held:

Work is expected to start in June 2020 and be completed during the 2020 construction season.
The bridge is expected to be closed for approximately six weeks from mid-July to late August. A 13-mile detour will be posted using Hill City Road (Route 2015), Route 157, and Camp Coffman Road (Route 2017).
