Warren County - Route 62 Bridge Rehabilitation
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to a plans display regarding the rehabilitation of the Route 62 Bridge over Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad tracks in Brokenstraw Township, Warren County.
The project will include removal of the existing asphalt deck and replacing it with the concrete deck and overlay, as well as repairs to the barriers, abutments, and piers. It is expected to occur during the 2020 construction season.
At least one lane of the bridge will remain open during the work and traffic will be controlled through the use of temporary signals.
The bridge, which is located near the Route 6 interchange, was built in 1968. It is classified as poor condition. Approximately 3,300 vehicles a day use the bridge, on average.
The plans display for the project will be held:
Date: Tuesdays, January 14 and 21, 2020
Time: 10:00 AM to Noon and 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
