Registration Requirements Summary
If you wish to use a digital signature to electronically sign documents for working with PennDOT Bureau of Project Delivery, you must register using the eSignature process. - Follow the instructions in
Creating and Exporting Adobe Signature Certificate (PDF) to create your digital signature and export the certificate (.fdf file).
- If desired, follow the instructions in
Create an Appearance for a Digital Signature in Adobe (PDF) to create an appearance that will mimic your handwritten signature when digitally signing files (This process is optional).
- Email the exported .fdf file from Step 1 to
eConstruct@pa.gov. A pre-addressed
email template (.oft) is available to use, just attach the .fdf file to the email and send it to the resource account in the template.
- You will be notified via email when your registration is processed.
