July 8 10:30AM Update: CSVT Northern Section Opening to Traffic This Week

July 8, 10:30 AM Update: All lanes of the CSVT Northern Section are now open to traffic.

 July 7 , 11 AM update: A portion of the new CSVT Northern Section has opened to southbound traffic. The new southbound lanes are open between the new Ridge Road interchange in Northumberland County and existing Route 15 in Snyder County. (The bridge is open in both directions.)  Tomorrow, Friday, July 8, the remaining portion of the new roadway will be open to southbound traffic entering from existing Route 147 at the northern end of the project.  The northbound lanes opened to traffic earlier this morning.

 July 7 Update: The CSVT Northern Section is now open to northbound traffic. The southbound lanes will open tomorrow, Friday July 8. An update will be provided when southbound traffic is permitted on the CSVT Northern Section.

Montoursville, PA –The Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation Project (CSVT) Northern Section is opening to traffic this week. The northbound lanes will open Thursday. Opening of the southbound lanes will follow with completion late Friday.

Motorist are urged to drive with caution as they navigate the area due to changing traffic patterns and an active work zone.
