PennDOT Greene County Maintenance Update September 18, 2017 – September 22, 2017


Uniontown -  Greene County Maintenance Manager, J. Scott Finch, II, today announced the following tentative work plan for the week of September 18, 2017.   All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis.   Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
Bridge maintenance on SR 3006 in Gilmore Township
Bridge flushing in the western half of the County.
Spray patching potholes in the western half of the county.
Shoulder cutting and grading in Dunkard, Monongahela and Greene Townships
Ditch and drainage cleaning in various townships.
Shoulder stabilization on SR 2003 in Perry Township.
Major Slide Repairs on SR 3007 in Jackson and Richhill Township
State roads will be reviewed and signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and concerns addressed on various state roads throughout the county.
PENNDOT has a 24-hour toll free number for residents to call to report any road maintenance concerns.  This number can also be utilized to report locations of dead deer on state highways. The number is 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623).
