Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing lane restrictions on McKnight Road (Route 4003) in McCandless Township, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Wednesday, December 4-6 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur in each direction on McKnight Road between Duncan Avenue and Cumberland Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Crews will install temporary radar devices to improve traffic movement.
The $7.34 million improvement project includes milling and paving nearly 3 miles of McKnight Road, drainage and guiderail improvements, mountable curb replacement, signal and sign upgrades, pavement marking installation and other miscellaneous construction.
Motorists should use caution when traveling through the corridor. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
