Oil City, PA – Nighttime maintenance work is scheduled at the Interstate 90/Interstate 79 interchange and a portion of Peach Street in Erie County next week.
Motorists are urged to watch for nighttime work zones from midnight to 8 AM as employees of PennDOT’s Erie County Maintenance Office patch sections of I-90 and I-79 in the interchange on Tuesday night through Thursday night.
On Friday, nighttime work will shift to road crack sealing operations on Peach Street in Summit Township.
PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
