Oil City, PA – The bridge that carries Reynolds Industrial Park Road over the Shenango River in Pymatuning Township, Mercer County has reopened following a rehabilitation project.
The 183-foot-long bridge on Reynolds Park Industrial Road (Route 4012) is located about one half mile east of the intersection with Route 18 and about two and one half miles west of the intersection with Route 58.
Work, which began in May, included rehabilitating the bridge deck along with construction of new roadway approaches and updated drainage, guiderails and pavement markings.
The contractor is Allison Park Contractors, Inc., of Gibsonia, PA. The contract cost is $835,000, which is to be paid with 80 percent federal funds and 20 percent state funds.
