Oil City, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation invites the public to view a display of plans for a bridge replacement project on Route 3007 (Rockdale Road) in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.
The 15-foot-long bridge carries Rockdale Road over the north fork of Scrubgrass Creek and is located about one-quarter mile south of the intersection with Route 208.
The bridge is to be replaced with a concrete box culvert and construction is expected to take place during the summer of 2018.

A detour is expected to be in place throughout the duration of the construction.
The existing bridge was built in 1965 and it is used by about 230 vehicles a day, on average.
The purpose of the display is to introduce the project and to receive public input regarding any questions or concerns with the project. The display is set up to also receive any public input regarding historic or archaeological sites in the area that could be affected by the project, as required by Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (cultural resources).
The display location is accessible to anyone with disabilities. The project documents will be made available in alternative languages or formats if requested.
