Emergency Contact Information System
By uploading your emergency contact information, you'll be giving law enforcement the ability to quickly reach someone who will speak for you if ever you cannot speak for yourself. The information you provide is stored in a secure database that is accessible only by law enforcement.
Here's how to use PennDOT's Emergency Contact Information System:
- Log in to the secure Online Emergency Contact System on the PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services website.
- Enter the driver's license or ID number, date of birth, and last four digits of the Social Security number for yourself or the person for whom you are entering emergency contact information.
- Enter the contact information of your desired emergency contacts. You will be required to enter their name, relationship to the person for whom the information is being entered, address, and a phone number.
- You'll then have the opportunity to submit, edit, or cancel the information.
You can update this information online anytime!
