A West Main Street (Route 4026) bridge in Potter County, reopened to traffic on Monday, October 16. The bridge spans Fishing Creek in Roulette Township, near the village of Roulette and was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. Replacement of the bridge allows PennDOT to remove it from the state's structurally deficient bridge list.

Motorists traveling through Bradford Township, Clearfield County, will be reminded to obey the posted speed limit on Route 2027 (Mineral Springs Road). The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has placed a radar-controlled speed display sign along Route 2027 between Tabernacle Road and Valley/Wilson Road. The speed display board is to aid in curbing speeding, a common type of aggressive driving.

A new Route 655 bridge in Union Township, Mifflin County is complete and open to traffic. The bridge spans Frog Hollow Run, near the village of Kishacoquillas and was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. Replacement of the bridge allows PennDOT to remove it from Mifflin County’s structurally deficient bridge list.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has placed a radar-controlled speed display sign along the northbound lane of Route 2021 between Gardenia Lane and Decatur Street. The speed display board is to aid in curbing speeding, a common type of aggressive driving.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has reduced the speed limit on two sections of Route 1006 (Water Street/Old 220) in Boggs Township, Centre County. Effective Oct. 5, the speed limit will be reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph for approximately eight tenths of a mile beginning at the junction with Route 144. The section beginning at the Interstate 80 overpass and ending near Curtain Road will also be reduced to 45 mph.
