Crews will be performing drainage work and cross pipe installation next week as part of the Potters Mills Gap Project, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. This work will be completed overnight from approximately 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. beginning Sunday, June 24, and continuing through at least Friday, July 6.

As work to improve more than 41 miles of roadway in Centre and Clinton counties continues, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is issuing an update on its project schedule. Overall work includes milling, base repair, resurfacing, curbing, sidewalks, and guide rail updates on sections of seven routes in Centre County and five routes in Clinton County.

Traffic will be diverted from the travel lane to the passing lane on both the northbound and southbound lanes beginning Monday, June 18.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will begin making improvements to a Route 64 bridge in Centre County next week. The bridge spans Little Fishing Creek near the village of Lamar and the Centre/Clinton county line.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today that repairs to the traffic signal located at the intersection of Routes 322 and 53 near Philipsburg in Decatur Township, Clearfield County, are complete. The signal had been flashing red since Tuesday, June 5, after a crash caused damage to the signal’s controller cabinet.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting drivers that work to replace a bridge on Farrandsville Road (Route 1001) in Clinton County will enter a new phase this week, as beams are delivered to the project. Crews have been working since March to replace the bridge, which spans Lick Run, south of the village of Farrandsville.

With construction and utility work continuing, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is issuing an update for its North Atherton Street project in State College. The entire project will take place through 2019, with phased work zones stretching from Aaron Drive to Park Avenue. Work will include relocation of numerous utility lines, relocation of sewer and water lines, drainage improvements, curbing, sidewalks, ADA ramps, traffic signal upgrades, new concrete median, and paving.
