Governor Tom Wolf today joined the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, as well as local and elected officials, to mark the completion of the states first Diverging Diamond Interchange, or DDI, an innovative safety enhancement that upgraded and rehabilitated Interstate 70 from the north junction with I-79 to the Route 136 (Beau Street) Interchange.

Uniontown, PA – Construction for the Palmer Road (Route 3013) bridge near Ball Hill Road, which spans Middle Run in German Township, Fayette County has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of August 14.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a lane closure on Route 1028 (Bovard/Luxor Road), for bridge repair between Luxor School Road and White Church Lane in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County.

Uniontown, PA – The Garards Fort Road (Route 2011) bridge, which spans Coal Lick Run in Franklin Township, Greene County, that’s been under construction as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, is complete and open to traffic.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a road closure on a section of Route 3001 (Aleppo Road) just north of the intersection of Riggs Road, in Aleppo Township Greene County. The road closure will begin on Friday August 18, at 6 pm and is scheduled to reopen on Monday August 21 at 5 am.

Uniontown, PA – Construction for the Route 50 (Millers Run Road) bridge, which spans Miller Run in Cecil Township, Washington County has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of August 14.

Uniontown, PA – The Bitner Road (Route 1043) bridge, which spans Redstone Creek in Franklin and North Union Townships, Fayette County, reopened to traffic on Friday, August 11. This bridge was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project and allows PennDOT to remove it from the state's structurally deficient bridge list.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists that the ramps between Route 30 and Route 136 (on and off ramps) in Hempfield Township will be closed and detoured from Friday, August 18 at 7 pm through Monday, August 21 at 5 am.

Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Engineering District 12-0, invites you to attend a public display of plans for the Route 711 over Tubmill Creek Bridge Replacement Project (Route 711, Section 03M). The project is in St. Clair Township, Westmoreland County and involves the replacement of the existing bridge structure over Tubmill Creek.

Plans regarding the replacement of a Westmoreland County bridge included in the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project will remain on display and available to the community to review through September 29, 2017. The plans provide important information including the construction schedule and traffic changes that are planned to take effect while the bridge is being replaced.

Construction for the Wilpen Road (Route 1017) bridge, which spans a Branch of Hannas Run in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County has been postponed one week. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of July 31.
