Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of an emergency lane restriction on Route 4008 (Filbert-Orient Road), between Roderick Road and Bunker Hill Road in Redstone Township, Fayette County due to a slide.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of lane restrictions on Interstate 70 between the Chestnut Street Exit and the Interstate 79 North Junction so that asphalt repairs can be made. The lane restrictions will be in place between 8am and 8pm from March 1 to March 26, weather permitting.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a lane restriction on Route 906 (Donner Avenue) Southbound between 4th Street and Schoonmaker Avenue in the City of Monessen, Westmoreland County. Work begins on Tuesday February 27, weather permitting.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a lane width restriction on Route 3012 (Green Valle Road) between Palmer Road and Briggs Road in Aleppo Twp. The 10-foot lane restriction will be in place between March 12 and March 16 so that core borings can take place.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a lane restriction on Route 4042 and Route 4044 (Leechburg Road) between Route 4083 (Craigdell Road) and Route 56 in the City of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County. Work begins on Monday, February 26 with an anticipated completion date of Tuesday, May 1 from 7am to 5 pm, weather permitting.

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 12, will host a Public Display of Plans to discuss the State Route 4007 Section C10 Project. The Public Display of Plans will provide an update on project plans development, and collect public input.

Washington – Washington County Maintenance Manager, Adam Smith, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of February 19, 2018. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis.

Harrisburg, PA –The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that all driver license and photo centers, including its full-service center in Harrisburg, will be closed Saturday, February 17, through Monday, February 19, in observance of Presidents Day.

Uniontown, PA – Construction for the Oak Forest Road (Route 3013) bridge, spanning Bells Run in Wayne Township, Greene County, is scheduled to begin as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. Replacement of this bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from Greene County’s structurally deficient bridge list.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a road closure on Route 66 between Route 819 and Route 4034 (Orr Avenue) in Washington Township, Westmoreland County. Work begins on Monday January 15 with a tentative completion date of Thursday February 15.

Uniontown – As information is gathered for a future road project, PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists that workers will be present at the US 119 interchange/Toll 66 Interchange area during the next week. Starting Monday, February 12th and continuing through approximately Wednesday, February 14th crews will be visible in and around the area of the US 119/Toll 66 (Amos K. Hutchinson Bypass) interchange in New Stanton Borough/Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County doing field inspection work. These inspection efforts will occur on Route 8007, Ramps A and H over Southwest PA Railroad and Sewickley Creek utilizing shoulder and lane closures. A single travel lane will remain open at all times, but workers will be directly adjacent to the lane. These restrictions will occur between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, so please use caution during these times.

Uniontown – Due to the winter storm gripping the region, PennDOT is temporarily reducing the speed limit on several roadways in the region. PennDOT is urging motorists to avoid unnecessary travel but those who must head out will see speeds reduced to 45 mph on Interstates 70 and 79.

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) have been honored with Keep America Beautiful (KAB) 2018 State Agency Partner Awards for their partnership on the Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania in 2017. The statewide campaign organized over 132,000 volunteers who participated in over 7,200 local cleanup events in every county of the commonwealth.

Uniontown, PA – Construction for the Oak Forest Road (Route 3013) bridge, which spans Bells Run in Wayne Township, Greene County, has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of February 19.

Uniontown, PA – After a routine inspection, it was determined that an emergency repair is necessary to the bridge that carries Indian Hill Road over Interstate 70 at the Arnold City Exit (Exit 44) in Westmoreland County. A temporary closure of both I 70 East and Westbound at that interchange will be necessary for motorist safety and will take place between Wednesday, February 7 at 8 PM and Thursday, February 8 at 6 AM. This timeframe depends on the weather.
