Uniontown, PA – The Broadford Road (Route 1031) bridge, which spans Galley Run in Connellsville and Upper Tyrone townships, Fayette County, reopened to traffic on Friday, October 20. This bridge was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project and allows PennDOT to remove it from the state's structurally deficient bridge list.

Uniontown, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is pleased to announce the winners of the District 12 “Paint the Plow” contests which wrapped up today. Each county has an overall contest winner. The “Fan Favorite” was chosen by Facebook users by “liking” their favorite in the contest photo albums on the PennDOT Facebook page. The Overall Winner was chosen by a panel of judges.

Uniontown, PA – Construction for the Banetown Road (Route 2007) bridge, spanning Horne Run in Amwell Township, Washington County, is scheduled to begin as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of surface improvements on Route 2019 (Holland Hill Road), and Chalk Hill Ohiopyle Road in Ohiopyle Borough, Fayette County. Work begins on Wednesday October 18 from 7 am. to 4 pm. with an anticipated completion date of Friday October 20 weather permitting.

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a road closure on a section of Route 1021 (East End Road) between Route 1051 (Breakneck Road) and Route 1023 (Johnson Lane) in Bullskin Township, Fayette County. Work will begin on Monday October 23, with a tentative completion date of Friday November 3.

Uniontown, PA – Construction for the Brinkerton Road (Route 2012) bridge, spanning Brinker Run in Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County, has been postponed. It was previously scheduled to begin during the week of October 2.

Uniontown – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists that they will encounter lane closures on east and westbound Interstate 70 between mile marker 9 and 10 starting on Monday, October 9 through Thursday, October 12. The restrictions will be in place between 10am and 6 pm.

This bridge was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project and allows PennDOT to remove it from the state's structurally deficient bridge list.

Uniontown – PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of a 24-hour flagging operation to implement a single lane closure for the tie-in construction of Charles Houck Road with Gravel Hill Road in Unity Township, Westmoreland County. This Phase of the project is scheduled to begin, Monday, October 9 with a tentative completion date of Friday, October 13, 2017.

Harrisburg, PA –The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that all driver license and photo centers, including its full-service center in Harrisburg, will be closed Saturday, October 7, through Monday, October 9, in observance of Columbus Day.
