Paint the Plow

With winter just around the corner, District 10 is getting help from schools in Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana, and Jefferson counties to promote winter safety through an initiative called, Paint the Plow. Participating schools are asked to produce artwork on a PennDOT plow, that will be used to maintain state-owned roadways in their respective county. Participating students will be tasked with designing and creating original artwork on a snow plow using 2019's designated theme: Don't Rush in Ice and Slush.School Guidelines 2019

Paint the Plow Contest

Judges Pick:
Each plow will be judged on creativity and ability to incorporate the designated safety message/theme. The “Judges’ Pick” winner will be selected by a panel of PennDOT representatives from their respective region.

Fan Favorite: Additionally, during a designated voting period, the public will have the opportunity to select a “Fan Favorite” winner by going online to vote for the painted plow they like the most. A photo of each painted plow will be displayed online and the plow that receives the most votes will be determined as the winner.
