Uniontown, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is pleased to announce the winners of the District 12 “Paint the Plow” contests which wrapped up today. Each county has an overall contest winner. The “Fan Favorite” was chosen by Facebook users by “liking” their favorite in the contest photo albums on the PennDOT Facebook page. The Overall Winner was chosen by a panel of judges.

King of Prussia, PA – The westbound lanes of JFK Boulevard are scheduled to be closed and detoured between 20th Street and Schuylkill Avenue beginning Friday, October 27, at 9:00 PM, through 5:00 AM on Monday, October 30, for construction activities related to the rehabilitation of three structurally deficient bridges on JFK Boulevard over 21st, 22nd and 23rd streets in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 76 and Interstate 95 on Saturday, October 21, through Monday, October 23, for bridge inspections in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Governor Tom Wolf today announced that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has granted Pennsylvania a REAL ID enforcement extension through October 10, 2018. This extension means that Pennsylvania residents will not face access issues when entering federal facilities or boarding commercial aircraft through that date.

With the winter season approaching, Governor Tom Wolf today announced that a new online tool is available to inform the public of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) operations this winter. He made the announcement in conjunction with a news conference that PennDOT Secretary Leslie S. Richards held today outlining the agency's plans for winter services, and sharing job opportunities and driver preparation tips.
